Agricultural Heritage
of the Černý Family
Our farming roots reach deep into the history of the Czech countryside. Historical chronicles document the presence of our ancestors in agriculture as early as 1651. For centuries, generations of our family have dedicated themselves to working the land, developing the farmstead and building agricultural estates.
First Records in the Chronicles
Historical chronicles document the presence of our ancestors in agriculture as early as 1651. At that time our family began farming in the Czech countryside — with deep respect for the land and a commitment to pass it on to future generations.
History & Development
The Černý family lived through periods of war, economic hardship and major societal change. Yet the family always preserved its bond with the land, its work ethic and its ability to adapt to changing times. The farmstead gradually grew from small holdings to larger agricultural enterprises and trading activities.
Tradition
The Courage to Modernise
Our ancestors were among the farmers who were not afraid to adopt new technologies and modern agricultural methods. Mechanisation, soil improvement and expanding production were a natural part of the farm's development. We continue this tradition today through modern processing and an uncompromising focus on raw material quality.
Specialisation in Poppy Seeds
Our family has been systematically focused on blue poppy seed production since 2004. We combine long-standing expertise with modern cleaning technology and quality control — resulting in consistent supply for the food industry.
European Supplier
Today we operate as a stable supplier for food processors in the Czech Republic and across Europe. Annual capacity up to 2,000 t, our own cleaning line and exports to Poland, Austria and beyond — the result of generations of honest hard work.

on the Same Land
This archival photograph captures the Černý family farmstead at a time when mechanisation was just beginning to transform Czech agriculture. The people in the image are our ancestors — their work laid the foundations of what we continue to build today.
